Tinfoil Hats, part 2


The Centauri empire, while with the twist that they were being manipulated behind the scenes by an unseen enemy still had the youth corps, the 'special guard' and everything.

Boy, that didn't take long. Earlier not only a few days ago I played my tinfoil hat thing for the day. However, I think I'm too late.

CNN is reporting that 'U.S. officials have discussed the idea of postponing Election Day in the event of a terrorist attack on or about that day.'

I'm wondering now if we're doomed to repeat it except this time America is the source of the 'new world order for peace' or whatever fancy slogan we'll live with. The real question is, how would I react if something like that begins to happen? Will I be a collaborator? A fifth columnist? Shot and killed in the first week?

God I have to quit reading so many history/alternate history/science fiction some days. Those authors borrow so much from things we've done before during WW2, everything. Even the books of Babylon 5 that were written to fill in the gaps from the early termination of the series.
