Get your factchecks right.
He did a lot more digging and found several
entries where someone was trying to sell the domain in 2002 and 2003 and then a
mention of it going slack and being picked up by some other
company.
During the vice-presidential debate last night
Dick Cheney referenced a site called 'factcheck.com' that would support some of his
numbers and how Senator Edwards was incorrect in what he was
reporting.However, Mr. Cheney had his
domain names wrong. What he really wanted to say was Factcheck.org.
Factcheck.com is a site that redirects to George Soros' website which is quite
the anti-Bush website and is in favor of
Kerry.While mistaking a .org for a
.com isn't that big of a deal, interestingly enough, if you check the web archive you see that not too long ago it was
a simple 'for sale' sign on the
internet.Brian however is convinced that it's a hippy lover in Seattle that owns the domain that
just redirected it in favor of driving more people away from President Bush.

interesting. While not earth shattering news, this is just one of those things
that I am not really fond of when it comes to the web. Stuff can change in a
heartbeat with little to no idea that ten minutes before it was something
else.
