New Protein Skimmer


It's so much quieter and more efficient, and with the surface skimming attachment it's pulling the brown goo off the top of the tank water and all.

I picked up a new protein skimmer today for the tank. I officially have 'flushed' money now on hardware. I knew I should have just gotten what I got this time the first time. But for some reason I wanted to support a local store. Dumb idea, I now have some decorative plastic unless I can find someone to take it off my hands.

So I now have an Aquac Remora Pro running. It's so much quieter and more efficient, and with the surface skimming attachment it's pulling the brown goo off the top of the tank water and all.

Of course it showed up damaged in shipping but the place I ordered it from has already sent me the replacement collector cup. It will be here on the 11th as long as UPS delivers on Friday.
