ZDnet declares apple dead...again


The fact that Mac OS X as a server OS is the same core as Linux means that I could get everything I wanted from one vendor (a rarity these days) and if a person knows the desktop operating system they can easily manage (thanks to tools from Apple) their server.

New Apple PhotoPod? I don't think so


People seem to want all these features crammed into a little device and seem to forget the reason the iPod is successful is not because it is feature laden with so much crap that it's hard to know what the thing does.

I'm fully up and running on it and took a quick look at Final Cut Express long enough to know 'holy cow I need to read a book on this' I tried to import a few movies only to have it crash so I need to figure out what is going on there.

Wacom Intuos3 6x8 Tablet


One of the really cool things that attracted my attention was that there is an auto-lipsync feature so if you are writing a cartoon you could create the mouth in various positions, record your audio track, and then the software will lip sync the face up using the individual mouth positions you drew.

More Tiger Features Leaking Out


Now if I could just convince my family members to either buy a iSight for their Mac or buy a Mac (yes Dad & Mandy, that would be you) we could get all the kids on a video conference and for some reason that just brings a smile to my face thinking about the fun that would develop.
