Revisiting the USB Security Concern

Well apparently I'm not a complete idiot because someone who gets published in the real press wrote a very similar article where he likened USB to mean 'ultimate security breakdown' and had a lot of good comments on how USB ports and the proliferation of memory key type devices (they're so popular I've seen 256MB keys given out as booth trinkets) could be a horrendous security concern.

A while back I wrote a comment to an article I found over at O'Reilly where I commented on how I felt that USB and firewire devices had the strong potential to become the bane of IT departments everywhere.
