Revisiting the USB Security ConcernWell apparently I'm not a complete idiot because
someone who gets published in the real press wrote a very similar article where
he likened USB to mean 'ultimate security breakdown' and had a lot of good
comments on how USB ports and the proliferation of memory key type devices
(they're so popular I've seen 256MB keys given out as booth trinkets) could be a
horrendous security concern.
A while back I wrote a comment to an article I
found over at O'Reilly where I commented on how I felt that
USB and firewire devices had the strong potential to become the bane of IT
departments everywhere.
