Ordered some more toys.


Ordered some more items that were announced during MacWorld this week.

The big thing for me this week was that they released updates via iLife for iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD. The unexpected piece to this was they released a new package called Garageband (What, iStudio was taken??)

Any way garage band is this cool little app that lets you generate, mix, and then export to MP3/AAC your own music. I was enamored from the start with it. So I picked i up, along with a USB MIDI Keyboard that will let me play around.

More importantly, it'll let Becca play around. I hope to garner some interest in music in her. There are days I wish I could have seen beyond the weekly piano or violin lesson, I appreciate the music so much more now but don't have the time or the instrument to play (Piano)

Figured while I was spending money, I'd spend some money. So we got an iSight as well, and then some better speakers. I mean if we're going to be making music I should be able to hear it better. So i got some JBL Creature speakers.

Looking forward to everything getting here so I can begin to play around.
