Went to Richmond, VA


We drove up to Richmond, VA yesterday to see Angi's cousin. Got to check out a civil war museum while we were at it.

The drive up wasn't too bad. Since we're fairly north of Raleigh/Durham in Wake Forest as it is we just drove up to US-1 and headed north until it turned into I-85. Then I-85N to I-95N (I-85 just ended and turned into I-95) and we were there.

Took about two hours, and since I was aware of the much ballyhooed VA Highway Patrol I drove about the speed limit or just over.

We went to a Civil War Museum which we put pictures up on our fotki site. Got to meet more of Angi's side of the family. I didn't realize it until late in the evening but he is a brother of a guy we met back in Lawrence when we lived there. Kinda funny that both times we go to a Japanese steak house.
