Dinner appeared to be a success
Becca did her first easter egg hunt and she was
going good picking up about two or three until she dropped one.
Of course me being super critical I didn't think
they were tender enough. But it was probably the cut of the meat instead of the
grilling but still was rather annoyed. The sauce was good and everyone chowed
down so I guess it was a qualified success.
Angi went door to door giving away the
ribs though. We had two complete slabs left that we'd not even cut yet and then
a bunch more cut up. So six slabs of ribs was more than enough for everyone.
Don't think I'll be doing that much again unless we're doing some huge party
with lots of people.
Other than that
everything went great. Was a busy place for most of the day. Becca did her
first easter egg hunt and she was going good picking up about two or three until
she dropped one. She stepped on it, it popped open and she discovered what was
inside and that was all she wrote. I was taking photographs instead of video
and wished I had a video camera running. She looked down at the cracked open
egg and went OOOH! Chocolate! and dropped to sitting and proceeded to spend
the next five or ten minutes peeling them opening and eating them. She could
have cared less about the other eggs and was completely focused on opening that
chocolate up.
I hope to have those
pictures up and online to the fotki site here soon.
