Dammit, Lost a Sea Cucumber
I've been investingating closed loop systems that
puts the pump external from the tank and uses PVC pipes with tiny holes drilled
in it so that it doesn't have a strong suction point like the power head
does.
One of the two powerheads I was using for
circulation in the tank managed to suck up a sea cucumber killing it and
destroying the pump. I've been investingating closed loop systems that puts the

The cucumber is like 6 - 8 " long
and only about 1" was sticking out of the pump. Felt like crap for killing it
so terribly like that, sucked into a dark hole and probably torn up by the
impeller. What a way to go
