CBS Refuses to air Superbowl Ad.

Welcome to the world of media sponsored politics apparently.

I was bored, typed in Newsweek's TLD (http://www.newsweek.com) and found this doozy of a top article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4114703/

I at first thought the title 'Ad banned from SuperBowl' was the latest edge pushing from some beer company (like the Miller Cat Fight one) or something of similar taste.

Instead I find it is this ad. For the few of you that actually look at this it's an ad feature young children doing minimum wage type jobs. Washing Dishes, Garbage Collection. In the last five seconds it pops up 'Guess who will be paying for George Bush's $1 Trillion deficit'

So, I ask you two or three people, my fellow readers, is this not a crime? It's not like moveon.org couldn't pay for the ad, they had the money and order the spots etc. CBS is refusing to air it is now a form of censorship.

If you check out the other ads within the organization they are clearly all anti-Bush. However at the same time I don't think I'd classify them as anti-American. There was this little document called the constitution. Just because the government is trying to make us live in a state of constant fear against arabian descent people and ignore what they're doing to our country in the name of 'security' does not mean we should stand for this.

So the two or three of you that read this need to write to CBS before Sunday and tell them to buck up and run the real ads that are paid for.
