i watched TiVo'd Farscape last night and was finally able to watch it this afternoon.

Thanks Sci-Fi, you've ruined it for me.

It's still an excellent show, but I find it hard to watch knowing that it's over. I'm saddened as I watched it. It was a great episode, a fun episode, and I really enjoyed it. But of course, it's still over.

There's nothing new that will take it's place either. I thought i'd found a good sci-fi show in Firefly, but no, that's been killed too. It had an interesting idea, enough of 'what are they doing' type things, and some neat ideas. But no, it wasn't to be, and it'll probably never get picked up.

I find out the other day while reading some news sites that Odyssey 5 was cancelled. Of all fucking things. Another show that I was starting to enjoy and one that even gave me the creeps (In a good way) a few times. It even ended it's season with a nice cliffhanger type ending, but no. It's gone too.

There is hardly any shows on that I watch any more now. Monday there is Boston Public, then Third Watch (which I'm starting to hate) and Crossing Jordan. Tuesday has a whole half hour with That 70's show. Wednesday has Enterprise which I watch because I'm a sadist or something. I mean come on people, Trek deserves better than that.

Thursday is the 'Angi in front of the TV Night' watching played out shows that have to destroy characters so they can create drama, friday nothing, saturday nothing, Sunday has the dying simpsons and the only refreshing comedy left, Malcom in the Middle. With sopranos gone for a year, I at least have Law and Order, Criminal Intent to watch. Vincent Dinofrio (sp?) is my hero. He plays an awesome character.

Guess I'll have to surf the web and play DAoC or something. nothing else to do.

Well at first I thought I'd have a fun filled day of customer calls. Got up at 7AM for the first time in a month or so and I drove my TT for the first time in 30 days!!

Got halfway there, got a phone call, first appointment cancelled so I came home. Next appointment wasn't until 11:30 so it made no sense to hang out over there since I did not have a laptop or anything to work on.

So my first customer call since the surgery is now at 11:30, and we'll see how that goes.

Didn't get to sleep at all last night, tossed and turn well until 2AM too. Whee. Had a semi-nightmare about Angi dying during childbirth that woke me up pretty good, that was pleasant. I really hate that kind of crap.

Did pretty good yesterday, today should be pretty good as well. We'll see how things progress though with all the activity. Wednesday with just the Doctor's appointment and keeping the little one busy during it really pushed me over the edge.

Put my contacts in for the first time since the surgery too, they seem to be working.

Yesterday afternoon things went a little south on me. While waiting at the baby doctor's office it got a lot hot and I got a lot icky. I think I was having a lot of nasal dranage or something and it was really messing me up. The doctor's office was backed up big time because they had two babies on the way in delivery and another surgery so we got there about 1:40 and left around 4:45.

I got home and took some Benadryl, Immodium and Tylenol. I had some dinner (mm, steak) and then passed out. Angi drug me into the bedroom around 9pm, and then I woke up at 10:30PM wide awake. I took some more Benadryl and then went downstairs until about 2:00AM. Crawled back in bed then and woke up this morning around 7:30AM. My throat actually feels pretty good though I have that weird, clammy feeling all over. Don't know if that's the benadryl or something else like a withdrawl from all the narcs I've been taking.

Got three customer calls tomorrow so I hope to be doing better by then. I actually took my usual drug cocktail this morning of Claratin, Synthroid and Singulair. We'll see how things go.

Well I'm trying this out with the new Apple Safari browser that was released in public beta yesterday at MacWorld. It's pretty dang fast compared to Mozilla but it's missing two things I can't live with out.

1) Encrypted Password Storing with one main master password
2) Tabbed Browsing.

If those two features who up, this browser kicks ass. Other than that, i've found the pop-up blocking feature and haven't quite tested that out yet. bookmarks are interestingly done and seem to work for me so far. Pretty slick.

We go to the baby doctor today for the first time with future kid #2. It's the general checkup and Angi is looking forward too it and has been preparing since, oh, about 9:00AM. The appointment is at 2:00PM so it's kinda funny how excited she is.

Finally got back to my old standard for breakfast, sausage links. Though the wife made hot chocolate instead of cofee for some strange reason. Had to quit eating because ran out of hot liquid to wash down the sausage-is-sticking-to-the-stiches feeling though. This contant gagging reflex kicking in is getting old and it's making my eyes water. Hopefully this will stop soon because there is a nice sharp pain every time it happens too.

Oh well, off to work I go.

Yesterday sucked. Sat around all day feeling miserable and my tounge felt like it was swollen. Could hardly swallow water let alone anything else. Last night I was unable to sleep so I watched Panic Room and Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. When I finished Panic Room before starting the next one I thought 'Hmm, I'm hot, they said something about a fever over 102 is bad' and checked my temp. It was 101. So I broke down and took a little of the last of the Coedine to see if I could get some sleep. Within an hour of taking it my tongue felt normal and my temp went down to 100.

When I got up this morning I felt better. I mean my throat is tender, but it wasn't like yesterday. I've not taken any medication so far, and I'm trying to work my way through a bowl of Oatmeal. We'll see how that goes.

The guys at work have been understanding a little bit. Not too may questions. I sent a note out saying I was out of it and they left me alone most of the day. Slept most of it on the couch next to my desk.

Sister got married yesterday. Whee.

Angi wanted to dance to 'our song' yet the DJ didn't have Shenndoah's song, so of course we ended up just dancing to some boring slow song.

What kind of DJ doesn't have an Alison Krausse song? I mean come on, this is Kansas now.

Becca seemed to enjoy herself. Rather funny to watch her in tights try to crawl on a dance floor. She kept slipping her knees out from under her and faceplanting though.

The groom danced maybe three times, I was impressed.

Going over to watch them open presents later today. should be fun.
