The thoughts that float through my head when I remember to jot them down. An insight into the madness that is me.

what a lazy saturday. nothing real exciting to report other than watched a jerimiah, two screen savers, two extended plays, and brave new world.
brave new world was really massacred compared to the book. of course it had to have a 'happy' ending showing us our family values were superior to the genetic engineer future.

Busy day Today. Traveled to a lot of customers today, did a lot better than normal as far as the throat goes.
Think some big changes are coming at work. Lots of noise and changes. New Managers everywhere in Sales which is sometimes odd. All of them moving on for both areas and one new manager for both. People were upbeat about the selection, I don't really know the guy.
Not much changing on the tech side that I am aware of. Something about a 'National VMWare/x440' type role for me but nothing new other than I'll be called by more people I think.
I'm ready for a change though. Need to find something differnt to do with my life and such at work. Would like something different to do for a while. Not sure this year is going to be a fun year at work anymore, lots of grumpy folks it appears.
Oh well, it's the weekend. off to Austin, TX next week. Should be interesting.

OK, Maybe something to see here.
I forgot, While I was away, the wife found a politcal cartoon I'd appreciate and put it on my desk.
It has Kim Jong Il on one side, and Bush on the other.
It says:
Their Guy: Cunning, Intelligent, and crazy like a fox. Our guy: Can't pronounce 'Nuclear'
If you look at my history you'll notice a little rant about that. Found that one really funny.

nothing to see here. move along.

Co-worker had a baby girl yesterday. There is a new resident in Denver now. Hope they're doing well.
Which also means that I take over Denver for a few weeks while he is out of pocket for paternity leave (which is way cool that we get two weeks)
I like Denver, wish I'd get transfered to that region some days. Wonder how that'd be to live that far from home for a change. heh.
Going back to Kansas tonight from Dallas. Back to the ol' homestead. Been weird being away
11:02 AM
Ate at a place called Boi Na Braza (sounds like Beuno Brasa when they say it). It was a Brasillian style steak house. Basically, they bring you huge chunks of meat on a stick and cut it off and give it to you. I think they pay these said skewer guys to overwhelm the crap out of you. You have these little stop/go sign, if it's on go, don't put anything in your mouth if you don't like certain kinds of meat (me, I hate lamb, it's a dirty nasty animal).
Pretty good, did pretty well with the throat and all. Then, I got stupid and ordered a piece of plain cheese cake.
Holy Hell Batman! Talk about pain. Nothing like swallowing something that sticks to your throat and drags it's ass all the way down.
Then like a complete idiot after the first bite, I kept eating it. Now I really hurt tonight, my throat and right ear are aching, and all I have is some tylenol. Whoo hoo. What a dumb ass.

I see a Powerbook G4 12" in my future maybe.
I like it's size. Need to wait until CompUSA gets one so I can play with it.
