Got the new monitor, 512MB more of memory, and the new ATI Radeon 9700 all hooked up and running. Lookin good.
Didn't think DAOC could look better, but it does. Wow.
UT2003 is pretty sweet. Not to mention I'm all runnin this at 1280x1024 like I used to run at 800x600. Very nice.
But it's no Power Mac. :( I really wanted that 23" HD Display on a Dual 1.42GHz Machine. Maybe later in the year I can get one so I can do my photo editing/movie editing faster.

It's no longer a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Fred Rogers, AKA Mr. Rogers of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood has died today of cancer. Now I'm bummed. What is even odder is while I was in Denver, I was watching his reruns on PBS while getting ready. Sigh.

I've been watching a pattern in the spam I receive (& report for abuse).
It seems that there is only one item a spammer is allowed to sell for a given time. For a while, Norton Systemworks was the big thing, then Digital Descramblers to steal cable is the big thing, now I'm starting to get a run of teeth whitening products.
of course mortgages are *always* at their lowest rates in years!!!
Spamcop.net is such a lovely service, it's been really rare since I've gotten a spam actually downloaded to my email program since I started using that package years ago

Gave up on the Power Mac idea. Decided that I just have to stick with my less expensive Windows machines for a while. Got a 18.1" LCD and some more memory. oh well. Bill, you suck for making a crappy OS that everyone uses.
