Rant warning.
It's come to my attention that somewhere along the line the kind folks over at the RIAA have convinced yet another record label to start 'copy protecting' their CDs.
As a Macintosh owner, and an iPod owner. I say FUCK YOU!
I own 700+ CDs and 600+ DVDs. I will NOT buy a CD that will roast my nice little powerbook because you fuckwads can't figure out how to make a CD that works in a computer, is allowed to be copied under FAIR USE laws without toasting a machine.
Shame on your for only making it work with Windows Media Player as well.
Shame on you for forcing an average user (not me mind you) to go out and SEARCH for stolen music because you wont' let them listen to it on a portable music player that isn't some big ass CD player or commercial laden encrypted mini disc at 128kb shit level encoding.
The good news though, is that record label in question supports Kenny G, so I'm glad to see at least some MP3s will be harder to find ;)

Fun weekend. Talked with my realator. he went around house and gave suggestions on sprucing up the 1.5 yr old joint with things we never got done. Fuck me. We're spending all sorts of money on Dirt, Mulch, whatnot.
Sigh. I can't afford this right now. paying taxes and all.
