Another Year on Earth
I'm turning 34 in about 15 minutes.
I've been remiss in blogging. Not really sure why, I need to record all the funny things that the kids say and do. They are very entertaining.
This year has had some emotional ups and downs.
In general, I'm just happy to be here and have a husband and two beautiful kids that love me.
I'm hoping that the next year of my life will be a great year. It's starting off pretty good. Tom will be coming home from Zurich on the 12th and then we'll be going to Virginia Beach from the 13th to the 16th for a family vacation. On July 19th, we'll be celebrating our 9th anniversary and we're having a summer BBQ on the 29th. So, a busy and fun month is planned.
There are also some trials in the year ahead. Our financial situation is a bit skewed at the moment and I need to take better care of myself. I must stop the self-destructive cycles I've let myself fall in to: poor eating habits, lack of an exercise program, bouts of depression, etc.
So, here's to another year of me. A year on working to improve myself and to make my family happy, keep them healthy and always let them know that they are loved.
