Three Weeks In
Well, it's already Jan 21, 2007!
So far, the new year has cruised along. We started the year off with a stomach bug that knocked the whole family for a loop. Then I headed for Minnesota for a long girls weekend. Came back, got another little taste of the stomach bug and have recently launched the "clean this filthy house" campaign. Unfortunately, I'm the only one that seems to be on the campaign trail.
All in all 2007 has been interesting so far. My grandma (84) got married nine days in to the new year. She seems very happy and I'm quite happy for her. My little sister is pregnant and every day that she gets closer to the 2nd trimester, I get a bit more excited about becoming an aunt.
I'm continuing to watch the neighbor's daughter after school and when she's tracked out from school. In addition, I will also be watching another neighbor's 6 month old son a few hours a week.
Have applied to send Becca to Franklin Academy, we'll know in about a month if she made it through the lottery process or if we're going to have to send her to the public grade school that we've been redistricted to attend. Will be turning in Calvin's application for pre-school on Tuesday. We're going to send him to St. Catherine's because we like the program, just hate paying the money.
The kids are both still enjoying dance class. Becca will be starting spring soccer soon and we're trying to find something fun for Calvin to do for entertainment and to meet some more friends his age.
My goal this year is to try and blog more often. We'll see how it goes!
