Well, I can Say I've been to Central Park now.
Been in NYC the last few days and Tuesday afternoon one of my co-workers walked by and said something about going to see 'The Gates' and wanted to know if I'd come along. So I wandered out in 30 something weather and walked a few blocks from where we were (590 Madison) to Central Park. I guess the gates were these giant orange banner things put over the paths there. Kinda weird looking from the ground level but it might have looked cool from above.
Of course at the edge of the park they were selling pictures, two for $20 - framed even. I didn't feel like parting with any money for it, maybe I should have because it was an interesting day to mark for me from a job perspective. Anyway. I've been to Central Park now, and you know what? It's a big ass park in the middle of a big ass city. Glad I didn't spend my money to go there.
