Will someone please think of the ... Photojournalists?
A guy in Virginia gets busted for sticking cameras up skirts of teenagers. A loophole in the law says that since they had no 'reasonable expectation of privacy' that it's ok and he gets 10 days in jail for 'disorderly conduct' instead.
There are three things in this article that shocked me.
- 'It's the teenagers fault because I'm broke and her skirts was too short' (ed. note. WTF??)
- 'If they start passing laws that say you can't do this what will happen to a photojournalist who takes a photograph of someone in a car accident and an undergarment is showing?" (ed note uh yeah, that's what this law is about you perv)
- They don't say what the ages of the girls photographed are, but uh teenager to me implies <18 and why wasn't he arrested for child pornography then? That'd shut him up
