Light Bulb Followup
OK The new lights are in and all, and yesterday they were great. One thing I've noticed of this particular brand that I'm not overtly fond of is that it takes them a bit to 'warm up' first thing this morning meaning they're a bit dim for a minute or so before they get to full brightness.
It's doable and all. I mean it's not as bad as the one in my light in our bedroom that takes a good 2 seconds to turn on after you flip the switch, which is about the time it takes me to walk into something when I'm walking briskly through the room on a mission and flip the switch and keep going.
So far about 6 different lights have been updated to these lower power CF type light bulbs since we've moved in. Our Bedroom's ceiling fan has a single GE 60W equivalent, and our two night stand lights have 3-way CF Bulbs that are always set to the middle setting, our bonus room has a four bulb set in the fan, the Dining Room has a single bulb, and Becca's room has two of them. Oh yeah, I put one in that attic light because it burned out when we left it on for who knows how long one time.
My goal is as each set of light burns out I will replace them with a CF based light if they fit.
