Stuff .sit

Tea Leaves has a great entry calling on all current and future Mac OS X developers to ditch 'Stuffit' in favor of the built in Mac OS X compress utilities (AKA Tar with GZIP, and Disk Image)

Tiger shipped without Stuffit for the first time. Lots of people are now discovering that you just don't need it but a few developers still ship their products in that format.

Stuffit's 'free' extractor is on line with Real's and the ability to get the free player, you have to give up personal info (email) to get the program.
